Where I can find render elements from Chaos Cloud?

Depending on the Output settings of the Host Application, Chaos Cloud will store render elements in two different ways.

A) Output file type/name is specified in the Output settings:

In this case, Chaos Cloud will store the render elements in the file format of your choice, and in addition, it will also store the RGB channel into a separate JPG file.

B) Output file type/name is not specified.

In this case, Chaos Cloud will store the render elements into a multi-channel EXR file, and in addition, it will also store the RGB channel into a separate JPG file.

If you would like to export render elements from the multi-channel EXR file as separate images, you can easily do it from V-Ray VFB following the steps below:

  1. Load the EXR file from the Chaos Cloud in the VFB by File > Load image.
  2. Then from File > Save all image channels to separate files you can save render elements in the file type you would like.

Why I can't see Color Corrections, Lens Effects, and Denoiser results on the Chaos Cloud preview page?

Chaos Cloud currently, doesn't support previewing the following VFB features:

  • Color Corrections
  • Lens Effects
  • Denoise result
  • LightMix

The features however are rendered and stored in the output files from the Chaos Cloud. In order to view them just download the output files and open effectsResult render element.
