Using high quality pixel filtering with AI denoising is not supported.

This error message appears only if the following two features are used at the same time:

  1. "Use high-quality filtering" in Render Setup > System > Frame Buffer > Image filter
  2. AI denoising (either the NVIDIA GPU AI Denoiser or the Intel CPU AI Denoiser) in Render Setup > Scene > General Settings > Denoising

 

Currently, these two features cannot be used together due to technical limitations. The pop-up message provides an option to disable the high-quality pixel filtering option (and keep the currently selected AI denoising active).

This means that to use high-quality filtering, AI denoising has to be disabled manually.

 

We would like to lift this limitation in the upcoming versions of Corona, so that using high-quality filtering and AI denoisers at the same time would be possible. 

 

Note: The Corona High-Quality denoiser can be used with high-quality filtering without any limitations!
