Separately sold Render Nodes for V-Ray or Corona, or Simulation Nodes for Phoenix are only offered as floating licenses.
Floating license access can be set up with our cloud-based floating license sharing, which requires adding users to your organization and authenticating those users.
However, in setups where Render Node and Sim Node licenses are used on headless machines that only perform rendering or simulation, it’s more convenient to connect them to a centralized license server within your local network, where only the license server is authenticated with the administrator account that is associated with the licenses.
