Our products install the Chaos License Server automatically for you and you don’t need to take any action. When upgrading your product, you are also using the latest version of the license server, which is recommended.
If you have a setup with a centralized license server that distributes floating licenses in a local network, it is recommended to use the latest version of the license server, which you can find on the Chaos downloads. It is not mandatory to upgrade the license server unless you experience issues with your current version.
