Resolve double-charging on your card

Understanding double charges on your bank statement

If you notice a double charge on your bank statement, it's likely due to an authorization hold rather than an additional charge.

What causes a double charge?

When you use a credit card for certain transactions, your bank may place an authorization hold as a pending charge before the actual funds are withdrawn. This can result in both the authorization and the actual charge appearing on your statement.

How to resolve an authorization hold

  1. Review your bank statement to identify the authorization hold and the actual charge.
  2. Wait for the authorization hold to be removed, which typically happens within a month.
  3. If the authorization hold remains on your statement after a month, contact our customer service for assistance.
