Why your card payment failed
The most common causes are:
- Incorrect credit or debit card details
- Insufficient funds in the account
- Exceeded daily or per-transaction limits
- Card issuer blocking the transaction for fraud protection
Fix a failed card payment
Re-enter your card details and retry the order; if it still fails, call your card issuer to allow an authorization from Chaos.
- Verify your card details (card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address) and correct any errors.
- Check that you have sufficient funds and that your card has not reached its daily or per-transaction limit.
- Place your order again.
- If the transaction is still unsuccessful, call your card issuer (the phone number is usually on the back of your card) and ask them to permit an authorization from Chaos.
- Try a different credit or debit card if available.
