When you make a purchase for a term license, auto-renewal is turned on by default.
You can turn auto-renewal off or back on.
Turn off auto-renewal
You can turn off auto-renewal prior to the upcoming renewal date.
- Sign in to your Chaos account.
- Open the product settings for the license you want to manage.
- Turn off auto-renewal.

Reactivate auto-renewal
You can re-enable auto-renewal using the same steps before the license expires.
- Return to the product settings for your license.
- Turn on auto-renewal.
After your license expires
If the license expires with auto-renewal turned off, you must make a new purchase to continue using the product.
About auto-renewal for term licenses
Monthly, annual, and 3-year licenses have auto-renewal turned on by default after purchasing. To prevent renewal at the end of the current term (1 month, 1 year, or 3 years), turn off auto-renewal in your product settings before the upcoming renewal date.
