What is the difference between a Fixed and Floating license?

A fixed-seat and floating license will provide you with the same set of features – in this regard, Enscape remains the same, regardless of which license type you choose.

A fixed-seat license is tied to one machine at a time. You can easily transfer a fixed-seat license by manually revoking it from one computer and activating it on another.

The floating license allows you to use Enscape on any machine without additional setup. Whenever you open Enscape, one seat is occupied, up to the maximum number of seats you've purchased. The seat becomes available again as soon as you close the Enscape window. This means that if you're using a floating license, the total number of machines running Enscape at any given time must be equal to or less than the number of seats you own.
