Reinstall Chaos Cosmos
To ensure Chaos Cosmos functions correctly on your system you can re start it first. If that doesn't help you may need to reinstall the application. Follow the steps below for Windows OS.
Restart Chaos Cosmos Browser
- Open the Windows Start menu.
- Select "Stop Chaos Cosmos Browser."
- Wait a few moments, then select "Start Chaos Cosmos Browser."
Reinstall Chaos Cosmos
1. Uninstall Chaos Cosmos (from Control panel -> Programs and features).
2. Open C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup and delete the ChaosCosmos folder if it is present.
3. Open C:\Program Files\Chaos\ and delete the Cosmos folder it it is present.
4. Open C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Chaos Cosmos\Packages and delete the cpkg.db file if it is present.
5. Open C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Chaos\ and delete the Cosmos folder if it is present
6. Run the installation of your Chaos product (V-Ray, Corona, Enscape). That will also install Cosmos.
