Chaos Cosmos materials can be edited in your host application just like any other material. For example, you can edit parameters like color, gloss, bump, and others. The available parameters depend on the material format used by each platform.
Edit Chaos Cosmos materials in your host application
- Select the Chaos Cosmos material in your scene.
- Open your host application’s material or shading editor.
- Adjust the available parameters (for example, color/diffuse, glossiness/roughness, bump/normal).
- Preview the result in the viewport or with a test render, then refine as needed.
Platform-specific parameter support
- 3ds Max, Maya, and Houdini: Edit the material using the application’s native/proprietary material format and its full set of parameters.
- SketchUp, Rhino and Revit: Edit the material’s V-Ray .vrmat parameters supported in the application.
