What are the best render settings?
Generally, in Corona Renderer the default render settings should perform well in most situations so usually there is no need to change them. However, some special cases may need additional tweaking of render settings. There are no "universal" settings that will always provide the best results.
You can follow these simple guidelines that should help in most common cases:
- Use the UHD Cache as the secondary GI solver for interiors and scenes where global illumination is dominant.
- If you are dealing with strong noise caused by direct light, increase the Light samples multiplier

- If you are dealing with bright spots visible in refractive objects, decrease GI vs. AA balance
- If you are rendering a scene with a strong depth of field (3ds Max | C4D) or motion blur (3ds Max | C4D) decrease GI vs. AA balance to about 4-8
