How to fix "Corona license not found"

This message means that a valid Corona license was not found. Please do the following:

Step 1: Sign out and sign in again

  1. Open the Corona menu in your host application.
  2. Go to Licensing → Chaos Account.
  3. Click Sign Out, then click Sign In again.

Paths to Chaos Account

  • 3ds Max: Render Setup → System → About Chaos Corona/Licensing → Chaos Account
  • Cinema 4D: Cinema 4D menu bar → Corona → About → Chaos Account

Step 2: Remove and reinstall Chaos Unified Login

If the issue persists:

  1. Uninstall Chaos Unified Login from your system.
    • Windows: Start menu → Control Panel → Add or Remove Programs.
    • macOS: Delete ~/.Chaos/UnifiedLogin
    • Linux: Delete $HOME/.Chaos/UnifiedLogin/
  2. On Windows:
    • Remove ChaosULA:ula and ChaosUnifiedLogin:ula from Credential Manager.
    • Delete %localappdata%\Chaos\UnifiedLogin
  3. Download and reinstall the Chaos License Server.
  4. Try signing in and check http://127.0.0.1:30304 to confirm.

Step 3: Contact support

If you still can’t sign in, please contact us and include:

  • A screenshot or short video showing what happens when you click Sign In.
  • Product name and version, and your host application (e.g., Maya 2025, V-Ray 7).
  • Log files:
    • Windows: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Chaos\UnifiedLogin\logs\
    • macOS: ~/.Chaos/UnifiedLogin/logs
    • Linux: $HOME/.Chaos/UnifiedLogin/logs/
