How to activate Chaos products?

All Chaos products are activated the same way. After downloading and installing the software of your choice, start your application and follow the activation procedure explained in this article.

You will be redirected to the Chaos License Server where you need to sign in. This is done either automatically after just starting the software, or you need to use the dedicated "Activate license" button in the software itself. After you sign into the Chaos License Server, your product is activated and you can start using it. 

 

If you have not been redirected to the Chaos License Server after the installation, or if you are having trouble locating the "Activate license" button, you can access the Chaos License Server anytime by starting your web browser and entering this URL: http://localhost:30304/

Once the page loads, click “Sign in” and enter your registered email address and password:

Once you are successfully signed in, your product will just start working.

 

Note: the same login and password combination is used to sign into My Chaos portal and to activate Chaos products



Troubleshooting

I cannot access the Chaos License Server!

Solution: reinstall your product. If the issue persists, please contact us

I am getting an error when trying to activate my license!

I cannot see any products in the Chaos License Server!

Solution: make sure you are signed in using the correct account. You will see your current account name in the top-right corner of the License Server window. If you would like to sign in using a different account, click on “Online licensing” and then “Sign out”. Then sign in using the correct account.

I changed the license server IP address! What are the defaults?

If you changed or removed the IP address of the Chaos License Server in the Chaos license settings, here are the defaults that you can revert to:

License server: 127.0.0.1

Connection port: 30304
