If the following is happening:
- The master PC can see all render nodes on the list in Render Setup > System > Distributed Rendering
- DrServer is running on the render nodes
- 3ds Max fails to start on the render nodes (the 3ds Max window pops up for a second and disappears or freezes)
This is most probably caused by your antivirus/firewall software blocking some of the required applications. Please either temporarily disable the antivirus, or add the required processes to its exceptions list:
- 3dsmax.exe
- drserver.exe
