Gathering DR Logs

How to gather the Corona distributed rendering logs:

  1. Run distributed rendering and wait for the issue/error message to appear.
  2. On any (or all) of the faulty nodes: open the Corona DrServer window and click on each of the log names at the bottom of it (DR Log, Max Log, Corona Log).

  3. Save each of the logs in a desired location.

  4. Send them to us - it is best to compress them together using .zip, .rar, .7z, or similar file format.

  5. Please also attach Autodesk Backburner logs. Here is where to find them: How to find and analyze your Backburner error logs

We will analyze the log files and then inform you about our findings and possible solutions.

Troubleshooting

In case you cannot access the logs from the DrServer application (for example "access denied" message appears), you can find them in the below folders:

  • DrLog.txt - C:\Users\_username_\AppData\Local\CoronaRenderer\DrData
  • CoronaMax2020_log.txt - C:\Users\_username_\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2020 - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugfg\corona\
  • Max.log - C:\Users\_username_\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2020 - 64bit\ENU\Network
  • backburnerServer.log and backburner.log - C:\Users\_username_\AppData\Local\backburner
