If your rendered image has an unexpectedly low quality, for example it looks blurry, pixelated, or low-resolution, please check the following options:
Solutions:
Disable NVIDIA AI Denoising completely.
Note: it has to be disable in two places to disable it for interactive and production rendering:
- Production rendering: Render Setup > Scene > Denoising > Mode (set to "None" or some other denoising type)
- Interactive rendering: Render Setup > Performance > Interactive rendering > "Fast preview denoise during render" checkbox (disable it)
2) Image upscaling factor
Solution:
You can disable the image upscaling factor in Render Setup > System > System settings (set it to 1.0):

3) NVIDIA AI Upscaling
Solution:
Disable the NVIDIA AI Upscaling for production and interactive rendering:
- Production rendering: go to Render Setup > Scene > Production Upscaling and make sure "Mode" is set to "Disabled".
- Interactive rendering: go to Render Setup > Performance > Interactive Rendering and make sure the checkbox "Upscaling" is disabled.
