With the Online Licensing, your licenses are obtained over the Internet from our central license server and therefore it requires stable, uninterrupted internet connection.
However, it is possible to “borrow” licenses and use them completely offline and ''borrowing'' time is fixed for 14 days. When this period is over, internet connection is required to renew the license borrowing period. Chaos recommends that you only borrow licenses if the machine running has no internet connection.
