Disabling “Max. sample intensity” or setting it to high values can cause fireflies to appear in the image that will never go away
This message is triggered if you either disable Max. sample intensity by setting its value to 0, or set its value too high. In both cases, such setup can result in significantly worse performance and fireflies that will clear up extremely slowly.
Possible causes:
- Max. sample intensity is disabled (set to 0)
- Max. sample intensity is set to a value greater than 100
Solutions:
Make sure that Max. sample intensity is set to the default value of 20 or a reasonable value between 0 and 100.
