This error message appears under the following conditions:

  1. "High Quality" image filter type is set in Render Setup > System > Frame Buffer > Image filter
  2. AI denoising (either the NVIDIA or the Intel AI denoiser) is enabled in Render Setup > Scene > General Settings > Denoising

or

  1. "High Quality" image filter type is set in Render Setup > System > Frame Buffer > Image filter
  2. Upscaling is enabled in Render Setup > Scene > Production Upscaling

Currently, AI denoising and upscaling cannot be used with High Quality pixel filtering due to technical limitations. In such cases, the image filter type is automatically changed to "Tent" so that the AI denoising or upscaling can be used.

In Corona 13 and Older

Error message text: Using high quality pixel filtering with AI denoising is not supported.

The pop-up message provides an option to disable High Quality pixel filtering (and keep the currently selected AI denoising or upscaling active).

This means that to use high-quality filtering, AI denoising and upscaling need to be disabled manually.

Note: The Corona Denoiser can be used with high-quality filtering without any limitations.
