Use these checks to prevent discrepancies before you submit a job to Chaos Cloud rendering. Follow the steps below to confirm support, preview locally, and analyze your scene.
Check supported features
Review the supported and unsupported features for your host application before submitting to Chaos Cloud rendering.
Start with the overview: Chaos Cloud supported features.
- V-Ray for 3ds Max supported features
- V-Ray for SketchUp supported features
- V-Ray for Maya supported features
- V-Ray for Rhino supported features
- V-Ray for Cinema 4D ksupported features
- V-Ray for Houdini supported features
- V-Ray for Blender supported features
Analyze your scene for unsupported items
In the Submit to Chaos Cloud rendering window, select Analyze to scan the scene for unsupported features such as materials, textures, and Render Elements. If the analysis flags unsupported items, use the available converter tools in your host application to replace them before submitting.
Preview your job locally
In the Submit to Chaos Cloud rendering window, select Preview. This exports a VRScene file (.vrscene) and renders a preview on your local machine so you can catch any differences before using cloud credits.
If you notice discrepancies and cannot identify the cause, resolve them before submitting to the cloud or contact Chaos Support for assistance.
