This article provides steps to resolve the issue with V-Ray Light that is created from the V-Ray Toolbar not being present in the V-Ray Asset Editor in Rhino.
While adding V-Ray Light from the V-Ray Toolbar you notice that the Light source is not created in V-Ray Asset Editor check what command you have in the Rhino command line.
If the command is Unknown command: _vrayLight try to:
1. Force update the .rui file by deleting the cached version that Rhino makes here: %AppData%\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\7.0\UI\Plug-ins\VRayForRhino.rui
Starting up Rhino next time the file will be updated and it should fix the issue.
To access the Roaming folder write %AppData% in the file path and hit Enter:
2. If updating .rui file does not help, try to Reset all Toolbars to Default from Tools > Toolbars Layout > Restore Default. Restart Rhino and the new V-Ray Toolbars will be loaded.
Note: if you have more than one monitor V-Ray All Toolbar may appear on the second monitor.
