Resetting the V-Ray Render Settings

  • In 3ds Max

  1. Go to Render Setup > Settings > Reset Settings

  1. Then click on Reset

In 3ds Max, it is also possible to reset the Numeric Parameters to their defaults by right-clicking on the parameter or by "Ctrl" and right-clicking on the spinner icon.

In older 3ds Max versions, this was done by right-clicking on the spinner icon.

 

  • In Maya

    1. Open the Render Settings window
    2. Click on the Presets dropdown menu
    3. Select Import Render Settings
    4. Choose Default Settings

  • In SketchUp / Rhino

    1. Open the V-Ray Asset Editor
    2. Navigate to the V-Ray Settings
    3. Click Revert to Default Render Settings button

  • In Revit

    1. Open the V-Ray Settings menu.
    2. Select the Paths & Sharing submenu.
    3. In the Settings rollout, select the Default display mode.
    4. Select the changed values.
    5. Click on the Reset button.

  • In Cinema4D

    1. Open the Render Settings window.
    2. Click on the Render Settings.
    3. Select New.

  • In Houdini

    1. Click on the Gear dropout menu in the V-Ray Renderer ROP parameters window.
    2. Select Revert to factory defaults.

  • In Blender

    1. Right-click on each individual parameter.
    2. Select Reset to Default Value to revert to the original settings.

  • In Unreal Engine

    1. Оpen V-Ray settings.
    2. Click on the arrow next to each parameter or setting.

  • In Nuke

    1. Select the VRayRender node.
    2. Right-click on the Load Node presets.
    3. Select Set knobs to default.
