Issue
In some rare cases, the rendered image in the VFB might appear like the lighting is burnt out, which causes the colors of the highlights to appear bizarre or “broken”. The sky and overexposed areas are most prominently affected, showing as a different color.
Cause
The "Force color clamping" option in the VFB is turned off. This means that overexposed areas (pixel values above 1) are not "normalized" to the 0-1 range, leading to the colorful result.
Solution
Enable the "Force color clamping" option in the VFB:
The Force Color Clamping option is non-destructive. It can be enabled/disabled at any time, its purpose being providing information about overexposed areas in a scene.
