Lower CPU utilization with Intel® Core™ Platforms with performance hybrid architecture

The Intel® Core™ Platforms with performance hybrid architecture (i.e. 12th, 13th, and the latest 14th generation Intel processors) are based on a new kind of architecture, which combines high-performance cores (Performance-cores) paired with smaller high-efficiency cores (Efficient-cores) to desktop x86 PCs for the first time.

Due to the new technology, Intel® is observing a lower score on the Hybrid Core Platforms with performance hybrid architecture using Windows 10. This low CPU utilization could be also monitored on Chaos products like V-Ray and Corona.

Upgrading to Windows 11 allows your system to use the full capabilities of the Intel® Core™ Platforms with performance hybrid architecture. Read more about that in the following article - Performance Hybrid Core Architecture of Intel® Core™ Platform Using Windows® 10

Chaos officially supports all Intel® Core™ Platforms with performance hybrid architecture Platforms on Windows 11 only.

Note: Chaos does not recommend the usage of any unofficial solutions to increase the CPU utilization of Chaos products on Windows 10.
