Lower CPU utilization with Intel Core Platforms with performance hybrid architecture

The Intel Core Platforms with performance hybrid architecture (i.e. 12th, 13th, and the latest 14th generation Intel processors) are based on a new  architecture, which combines high-performance cores (Performance-cores) paired with smaller high-efficiency cores (Efficient-cores) to desktop x86 PCs for the first time.

Due to the new technology, Intel is observing a lower score on the Hybrid Core Platforms with performance hybrid architecture using Windows 10. This low CPU utilization could be also monitored on Chaos products like V-Ray and Corona.

Upgrading to Windows 11 allows your system to use the full capabilities of the Intel Core Platforms with performance hybrid architecture. Read more about that in the following article - Performance Hybrid Core Architecture of Intel® Core™ Platform Using Windows® 10

Chaos officially supports all Intel Core Platforms with performance hybrid architecture Platforms on Windows 11 only.

Note: Chaos does not recommend the usage of any unofficial solutions to increase the CPU utilization of Chaos products on Windows 10.
