How much does it cost?
There is no additional cost! Chaos Scatter is bundled with Corona 8 and newer. It comes with every Corona installation and cannot be purchased separately. If you have access to Corona 8 or newer, you have access to Chaos Scatter too.

Do I need a separate license?
No. If you have a Corona license, then you can use Chaos Scatter with it, regardless if you are using it on a workstation or a render node. It doesn't require any separate activation.

Where can I download it?
Chaos Scatter is included in the Corona installer. You can download Corona here.

How do I install it?
Chaos Scatter is installed automatically with Corona 8 and newer.

How do I activate my license?
You only need to activate your Corona license. If you can use Corona, then you can also use Chaos Scatter.

Where can I find it in 3ds Max?
Once you install Corona, you can find Chaos Scatter and the tools related to it in the dedicated Chaos Scatter toolbar.

What is the difference between Scatter Pro and Chaos Scatter?
"Scatter Pro" was our codename for Chaos Scatter. We used it in the past, but in the end we decided to use a name consistent with the other tools we offer.

Can I use it with Corona 7 or older?
No. Corona 7 and older only support the legacy Corona Scatter. Chaos Scatter can only be used with Corona 8 and newer.

How can I convert from Corona Scatter to Chaos Scatter?
If you install Corona 8 or newer and open a scene made using Corona 7 or older, where only Corona Scatter was available, all Corona Scatter objects will be automatically converted to Chaos Scatter.
